IFRS update - Week 5

Een wekelijks overzicht van de laatste ontwikkelingen rond International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) en externe verslaggeving.

RJ-Uiting 2021-2: Geen wijzigingen in de Richtlijnen uit hoofde van de IBOR-reform
RJ-Uiting 2019-17 bevatte de overwegingen van de RJ aangaande de invloed van de IBORreform in 'fase 1'. Genoemde RJ-Uiting geeft de conclusie van de RJ weer dat er geen aanpassingen in de Richtlijnen noodzakelijk waren en dat bij toepassing van hedge-accounting de ineffectiviteit ten gevolge van IBOR-reform wordt verwerkt in overeenstemming met de daarvoor geldende voorschriften in Richtlijn 290 'Financiële instrumenten'. Na beoordeling van de meest recente wijzigingen in IFRS naar aanleiding van de IBOR-reform is geconcludeerd dat er geen aanvullende of gewijzigde Richtlijnen noodzakelijk zijn.

IFRS Foundation Trustees announce next steps in response to broad demand for global sustainability standards
The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation met on 1 February 2021 to review responses to the first three questions asked by their consultation paper on sustainability reporting - demand for global sustainability standards, whether the IFRS Foundation should play a role, and, if so, the requirements for success in doing so.

Consultation paper on international financial reporting by non-profit organisations
International Financial Reporting for Non-Profit Organisations (IFR4NPO), an initiative to develop the first internationally applicable financial reporting guidance for non-profit organisations, has published a consultation paper to give non-profit organisations the opportunity to contribute to the development of the guidance for their sector.
