Niet de RJ-normen moeten worden verankerd in Titel 9, maar de normen uit de richtlijn jaarrekening!
Gert-Peter den Hollander reageert op een recent betoog over de status van de richtlijnen van de Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving (RJ). Hij wil dat de RJ zich eerst inspant om Titel 9 te laten voldoen aan de EU-richtlijn jaarrekening.

Voorstel voor wettelijke status RJ-richtlijnen is ongelukkig
De richtlijnen van de Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving (RJ) verdienen wettelijke erkenning, betoogde Ralph ter Hoeven eind april op deze site. Emeritus hoogleraar Peter van der Zanden is het niet met hem eens.

FASB issues guidance on business combinations
FASB on Monday published an Accounting Standards Update (ASU) that is intended to improve the requirements for identifying the accounting acquirer in FASB ASC Topic 805, Business Combinations.

More Global Companies Seek Assurance on Sustainability Reporting, Study by IFAC, AICPA & CIMA Shows
Almost 3-in-4 of the largest global companies sought assurance on some aspect of their sustainability disclosures, according to an updated report from the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and AICPA & CIMA. The study marks the fifth annual benchmark that now includes 2023 data.
