Prijswinnaars IAB Awards bekendgemaakt
De winnaars van de jaarlijkse The Accountant & International Accounting Bulletin Awards zijn bekendgemaakt. Baker Tilly International stoot BDO na twee jaar van de troon als netwerk van het jaar en PwC pakt de Audit Innovation-prijs.
De jury van de IAB Awards meldt dat Baker Tilly International heeft gewonnen vanwege onder meer solide groei, klanttevredenheid, en veel werkgevers-prijzen. RSM was een goede tweede, onder meer vanwege de succesvolle rebranding.
PwC pakte de Audit Innovation Award met Halo, een data-auditing tool die complexe algoritmen met datavisualisatie combineert. Deze technologie stelt accountants in staat ongewone en inconsistente transacties te identificeren en controlewerkzaamheden specifieker te richten op onderdelen waar dat nodig is. De jury was onder de indruk van het gebruik van artificiële intelligentie voor het blootleggen van trends en patronen.
Verder pakte KPMG de Communication Campaign of the Year Award voor wereldwijde organisaties, vanwege hun campagne rondom het klimaatakkoord van Parijs.
