Beleggers positief over instellen VOR
Beleggersorganisaties reageren positief op het besluit om vanaf 2025 een verklaring omtrent risicobeheersing (VOR) toe te voegen aan de Corporate Governance Code. Ook de NBA is blij met de instelling van de VOR.

Kabinet stemt in met verhoging controlegrenzen vanaf boekjaar 2023
Het kabinet stemt in met een ontwerpbesluit over verhoging van de controlegrenzen voor wettelijke controles over het boekjaar 2023. Daardoor worden minder bedrijven verplicht tot controle van de jaarcijfers door een accountant en het opstellen van een bestuursverslag.

EFRAG Endorsement Advice on Amendments to IAS 21
EFRAG has completed its due process regarding Amendments to IAS 21, The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates: Lack of Exchangeability, and has submitted its Endorsement Advice Letter to the European Commission.

Hyperinflationary economies - updated IPTF watch list available
IAS 29 'Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies' defines and provides general guidance for assessing whether a particular jurisdiction's economy is hyperinflationary. But the IASB does not identify specific jurisdictions. The International Practices Task Force (IPTF) of the Centre for Audit Quality (CAQ) monitors the status of 'highly inflationary' countries.

Duurzaamheidsverslaggeving

Bedrijven bezorgd over invoering duurzaamheidsrichtlijn
Met name kleinere bedrijven zijn bezorgd over de gevolgen van de invoering van de Europese duurzaamheidsrichtlijn CSRD. Veel bedrijven doen echter nog niets, of zijn onvoldoende op de hoogte van de gevolgen.

Publication of 3 Draft EFRAG ESRS Implementation Guidance documents
​EFRAG has published its first three draft ESRS Implementation Guidance documents for public feedback. Draft EFRAG IG 1 deals with the requirements on the materiality assessment in ESRS and Draft EFRAG IG 2 with the value chain aspects in ESRS. Draft EFRAG IG 3 contains the detailed ESRS datapoints as a Microsoft Excel workbook with an accompanying explanatory note.
